Just played a pickup game with Spectre83 and Chris from CellarDwellers. It's a very thorough squad scale fight and a lot of fun. Still need to learn a bunch of the rules, but it still seems to have a lot of flexibility. With 3 people playing 2 personnel each, there were quite a few ties rolling individual initiative. Especially with being able to delay your turn, it seems like a good candidate for using the shuffled card initiative system.

I'm really looking forward to the RPG, which I find slightly surprising, because in the past I have studiously avoided Mechwarrior. I played Battletech for the mechs, but now I can see that this new game will allow me to generate small unit actions, which I love. So, thanks for the post on your test game.
