@ Saxywolf: Yeah, my current computer is useful for only cruising the internet, and "backing up" my DVDs. Built 5 years ago, using 3-5 year old at the time parts. I am excited about the useful weight class idea; then again I always enjoyed piloting a Kit Fox against a Dire Wolf to see how long I would live.

@ Raptor13: I only watched it once at the time. Having rewatched it multiple times, and read the interview, I am able to pick up the little details more.

@ Quigs: Since none of the 'Mechs look exactly spot on, it *could* have been something else. I assumed it was a Jenner; just looking for confirmation since I had not read the interview at the time.

I hate you people.

Yeah, don't point out that it shoots 4 medium lasers, an srm 4, and a drac light jumper. Jeepers.

A bit dssapointed they went with the usual boring cliche. Hopefully the multiplayer doesn't suck as badly as their plot ideas.

The jumper is a Jenner, it's ID'd in the cockpit of the Warhammer itself. All three mechs are ID'd on the HUD throughout the course of the trailer; the Jenner as it's attacking, the Atlas as it's pounding the crap out of the Warhammer, and the Warhammer as it's getting pounded.

I love the look, and love how it harkens back a bit more to the unseen than the odd reseen. I also think it's good to go back to pre-Gray Death Legion memory core days and have some fun with the classic stuff.

"I will have to buy a new computer for this game" is exactly what I was thinking. I think my desktop is about 7 years old.

4 player co-op! It even sounded like he hopes to make it so I would be able to play with my brother when he's on his X-box and I'm on my computer, though I'm not totally sure what he meant by "multiplayer support across the 360 and PC."

I like how he described the controls. Simulator style, but not overly complex, and unfolding. A beginner can play, but as you learn the controls, you get more control.

Another focus of his I found interesting is making each weight class useful. In previous games you needed speed to keep up with a convoy, or get to a timed objective, but otherwise weight was king.

So, as I understand it... Smith & Tinker own the IP, Pirahna will be the developer, and they are looking for a publisher with money to fund it.

That was my initial that as well, Jenner. There are a couple others that I can think of that would fit the mold, but a Jenner makes most sense for a Drac...

That jumper is probably a Jenner. None of the 'Mechs in the trailer looks exactly spot on to either the unseen or reseen. No reason to get every detail perfect for a promo. That or they are looking to strike out on an artistic style all their own. Either way, the results look great so far.

Hoping to see more.

Barely had time to watch the trailer, let alone read the interview, before I left for work. HOT trailer, even if It sounded like they were using stock/old sound effects. I am very excited about the news. I hope this hype gets the notice of a publisher. I will have to buy a new computer for this game; this is what will retire the 9 year old dust magnet. You hear me publishers?! that is the length I will go for this game. I will spend loads of money (relatively) to make it happen.

I can't place the jumping 'Mech. Anyone ID it?
