Excellent setup. I do agree with you on the benefits of using MWDA minis to play CBT. I have found the BA and standard infantry quite useful. Strip them off the clicky, and mount them on a hex, and they're ready for the table. I see that you're headed to Cold Wars. I'll be there. Look for the name on my shirt. I'll be gaming with Speck.
