With a large number of mechs, it's not unusual to have odd paint jobs. When the fight becomes a bloody mess, it's easy to mistake an enemy mech for a teammate and expose yourself to them or not take an easy shot. Also, you'll find many apart-time enthusiast who can't identify all the mechs. If you are playing with hexes slightly larger then the bases, use colored paper hexes to identify the team with the mech name written on it so they don't have to keep asking or pointing to 'this' or 'that' mech. This also helps when deciding to move a mech as you can easily see where you started. Simply place the paper back under the mech when you finally move.

It looks like a single red die is missing from the middle box.
